This revolutionary new concept and design is the result of a cooperative development between FS Cruing, aerospace engineers, several industries leading CNC manufacturers and end users with the single objective of tackling dust related challenges.
Objective: Develop a safe, passively powered tooling solution that removes dust and airborne particulate matter at the point of cut and into existing extraction system.
The original designs of the Aerotech System were simple large wing designs without housings that did help remove dust from the point of cut but did not sufficently increase extraction, instead it increased distribution of the dust and the risk of ejecting debris beyond the operating machines protective shroud at exceedingly high velocities. Although the original design failed to deliver a controlled solution, it proved the concept had a future and immediately caught the attention of CNC manufactures who began contributing to the ultimate solution.
What started out as an infamous ‘What if’, has turned into a multi-national, cross industry, collaborative solution.
